While changing behaviors takes time, building a culture of inclusion starts with listening and understanding one another’s experiences. Through our programs and practices, we cultivated a workplace that celebrates and values each person’s varied perspective. We call it “the power of being you.” Each team member brings a unique personality, insights and perspectives on inclusion in the communities where we live and work.
Our differences fuel our insights. We foster culture, diversity and inclusion (CDI) through training programs, collaborative summits, courageous conversations and other internal and external resources that encourage open, honest dialogues and evolved thinking. Together, these strategies empower RSM to develop global leadership, integrate cultural differences, raise intercultural competencies, improve workforce productivity and exceed our clients’ expectations.
As we weave our tapestry, the picture that emerges is unique for everyone involved in fostering RSM’s culture, diversity and inclusion journey. We understand that we are obligated to our people, clients, vendors, industry peers, the communities where we live and work, and society at large.
Over the coming years, we will continue to build on our foundation of attracting, hiring and retaining outstanding diverse talent and providing them with tools, resources and opportunities to succeed. We will also continue to deepen our relationships with professional associations that support diverse employees, deploy resources to support the success of our internal and external programs, and see, value and celebrate the uniqueness of each person who works with RSM.
